- Abstract
- The aim of the MODB project is to update the Mediterranean database, to quality control temperature and salinity data, to revision of the climatological statistics for the Mediterranean Sea with a resolution adapted to the region space scales, to make available the hydrological data of Temperature and Salinity on the Web. OGS contribution concerns of the development of a regional inventory and the assemblage of the vertical Temperature/Salinity profiles, namely XBT/MBT, Nansen and CTD casts collected in the Central Mediterranean Sea, the implementation of quality checks on temperature and salinity over the Central Mediterranean Sea.
