Description
- Abstract
- Operational Environmental Monitoring projects aim to observe and study the main marine processes of the coastal and open-sea areas in their wide spectrum of space and time scales, with long-term routine measurements. The CORMIR project is an experimental study of 3D estuarine circulation in the inner Gulf of Trieste. Experimental data consisted of four days of measurements including drifter launches, VM-ADCP survey, CTD casts coupled with meteo-oceanographic and current long term data coming from different buoys in the Gulf of Trieste. It is founded by Friuli-Venezia-Giulia Local Government (Civil Protection Center).
