Description
- Abstract
- The Adriatic and Ionian Seas are considered hot spots of biodiversity, hosting habitats and communities of great environmental importance. At the same time, the ADRION area is intensively used and pollution is a key issue which requires a common evaluation and management approach. HarmoNIA intends to address the heterogeneity in methodological approaches and in the information used for Good Environmental Status assessment and to overcome the fragmentation in geographical coverage of data availability.
