Description
- Summary
- The C1 monitoring station is part of the LTER-North Adriatic site in the Gulf of Trieste. Discrete water samples for chemical and biological analysis were collected at 0.5, 5, 10 and 15 metres water depth. Analysis of chlorophyll-a was carried out on size-fractionated samples in order to assess the contribution of pico- (< 2 μm), nano- (> 2 μ > 20 μm) and microphytoplankton to total chlorophyll-a concentration between January 2010 and December 2012.
