Geocoverage: Three stations along a transect in front of the town of Senigallia, north of Ancona, Italy, at 1.5, 10 and 15 nautical miles from the coast at different depths (43deg 40' to 43deg 50'N and 13deg 15' to 13deg 30'E).

Summary: Investigation of the factors affecting the carbon cycle in the northern Adriatic - Thirteen sampling cruises have been made from August 1990 to July 1992. Starting from November 1993 the number of cruises will be reduced (seasonal instead of monthly) but the sampling net will be increased (nine stations on three transects). Data are arranged by cruise. The Istituto di Ricerca sulla Pesca Marittima, of the National Research Council, in Ancona, is contributing to the data set.
