Description
- Summary
- CTD data were collected within the framework of multidisciplinary studies focused on the evaluation of the water fluxes and dynamics through the Sicily, Sardinia and Tunisia Region. CTD data were visually inspected to eliminate spikes and averaged over 1dbar pressure intervals. Temperature and salinity were corrected for CTD calibration drift and compared with in situ reversing thermometer readings and water sample analysis, according to standard procedures (UNESCO, 1983 and 1988). Quality control has been implemented before the final data-archiving following the MATER Quality Control protocol (SISMER, 1997).
