Description

Summary
The EVOLINE project aims to study the coastal erosion acting in the Northern Adriatic area (along Bibione and Lignano coast). It is founded by Friuli-Venezia-Giulia Local Government to provide meteo-oceanographic conditions to Civil Protection Center in Palmanova (Udine). The complete experimental activity is based on a Datawell Directional Waverider (DWR), the meteo-oceanographic MAMBO2 buoy and the PAGODA instrumental set-up (the near-shore station). Collected data are transmitted to land via radio bridge in real time and stored on a PC-based land station.
