- Phytoplankton abundance and composition were determined in the South Adriatic Sea in the framework of the Italian National Research Project PRISMA1-Flussi Project (1995-1996).
- Sample collection and fixation with Ca(HCO3)2-buffered formaldehyde (0.8% final concentration).
