Descriptions:
Glider (CTD) and drifter data collected in the southeastern Ligurian Sea during the Lidex10 experiment (Poulain P.-M et al., 2020. On the dynamics in the southeastern Ligurian Sea in summer 2010. Continental Shelf Research). Data are in matlab format. The glider used for the experiment was the Slocum "Tenuse" piloted in collaboration with IFREMER. CTD glider data were corrected for the thermal lag following Garau et al. (2011). Residual spikes were removed applying a N-points median filter. Data corresponding to glider low-speed conditions were discharged. Garau, B., S. Ruiz, W. Zhang, A. Pascual, E. Heslop, J. Kerfoot and J. Tintoré 2011 Thermal Lag Corrections on Slocum CTD Glider Data. Journal of Atmospheric and Oceanic Technology 28:1065-1071. Drifter data between 3 July 2010 - 27 August 2010 were 1h kriged. The name of the drifter file is formed by a letter and a number. The letter corresponds to individual mission/deployment; the number corresponds to the ARGO/IMEI ID of the drifter.
