iMagine project: AI-based image analysis tools and support for water sciences

30 June 2023

NODC, as project partner, informs that iMage is now accepting applications from researchers and scientists seeking cutting-edge solutions for their image analysis needs.

iMagine is an EU-funded project with the mission to deploy, operate, validate, and promote a dedicated iMagine AI framework and platform, connected to EOSC and AI4EU, giving researchers in aquatic sciences open access to a diverse portfolio of AI based image analysis services and image repositories from multiple RIs, working on and of relevance to the overarching theme of ‘Healthy oceans, seas, coastal and inland waters’.

Applicants can also take advantage of iMagine's expert consultancy and technical support, which are tailored to assist in the development of AI applications for image analysis. Successful applicants will be invited to participate in a 10-month long collaborative project, receiving comprehensive assistance in AI model training. Moreover, they will have access to iMagine's powerful cloud resources, including GPUs, CPUs, and storage, which are instrumental in storing images and scaling up analysis workflows.

Apply for the iMagine call for use cases by July 31.
