The new open source tools for marine litter data

25 February 2018

NODC has recently made available several open source tools to manage marine litter data on a European scale . These tools were developed as part of the EMODnet Chemistry project, following the creation and implementation by NODC of several open access databases on floating marine litter or found along the coasts and on the seabed. These tools allow scientists, as well as any other data provider, to format and validate the data quickly and easily before their ingestion in the EMODnet Chemistry portal. More information is available on the EMODnet Chemistry portal in the section dedicated to marine litter < / strong>
