On 5 June, the Italian Tripartite Assembly on the European Open Science Cloud (ITAEOSC 2023) took place in Rome at the National Research Council headquarters. EOSC is a pan-European project designed to create a virtual environment for hosting and processing research data to support EU open science. The event was promoted by the MUR in the framework of the national tripartite events of the EOSC Association, the European Commission and the EOSC Board of Directors. The programme focused on the initiatives, opportunities and needs for national, European and international collaboration to advance in a coordinated way the transition to the Open Science paradigm and the construction of the European Open Science Cloud.
‘Marine Open Science at OGS. The National Oceanographic Data Centre (NODC)' is the title of the poster presented by OGS on the ongoing activities about FAIRness of marine data at national and global levels. The posters aimed to facilitate dialogue among participants and highlight Italian reference initiatives. The NODC’s mission, its contribution to the pursuit of Open Science principles and the online data access services offered by the Centre are some of the information included in the poster.
