On March 16, 2022, a delegation from the Lloyd's Register Foundation visited the National Institute of Oceanography and Applied Geophysics-OGS. The Foundation is a politically and financially independent global charity that aims to address the most pressing challenges to global security by supporting research, innovation and education. Alessandra Giorgetti, coordinator of the National Oceanographic Data Centre, presented the data infrastructure activities to produce evidence-based knowledge against marine pollution with open and FAIR data.
