During the 2021 edition of the General Assembly of the European Geosciences Union , NODC presented some of the main international collaborations of 2020, promoted and coordinated by OGS through the EMODnet Chemistry project. In particular, OGS underlined the contribution to the following international data portals: the Oxygen data portal and the Ocean Acidification data portal. The Institute also explained the important collaboration with the Ministry of the Environment of Japan and the G20 expert group on marine plastics to foster global harmonization of monitoring programmes and data management.
